Billion Faces

ORIGIN
Our Billion Faces Collection is based on the idea that everybody is different and identities are varied and extremely diverse. This collection focuses on individual human beings and their self-awareness in today’s society. Indeed, the visible artworks applied to the clothing deliver messages and unique stories, which the wearer conveys openly to the world.

On the contrary to our first collection, a repeated artwork of blurred faces is painted on the garments as we believe that, even though everybody is unique and social identities differ, we are all the same at the end of the day meaning we are all humans.
This is the concept behind the foundation of Steven Blanco.

THE LADY OF JUSTICE
The Lady of Justice is the icon/pillar behind our brand; therefore, she revealed in all of our collections. She is the personification of divine justice and law. She is the woman figure who does not judge based on appearance and social identity; all she sees is the law and impartially looks at people’s actions and behaviours. For which reason, she wears a blindfold.

THE BLINDFOLD
The blindfold represents impartiality, the ideal that justice should be applied without regard to wealth, power, or another status. By wearing a blindfold, the Lady of Justice symbolizes the fair and equal administration of the law, without corruption, avarice, prejudice, or favour. The blindfold suggests an emphasis on listening and understanding people and go beyond judging solely based on looks and socially imposed standards.

ULTIMATELY
Eventually, wearing a Billion Faces garment means coming from a real place within. It is when our actions and words are in line with our beliefs and values. It is being ourselves, not an imitation of what we think we should be nor being limited by what we have been told we should be and do. ‘We serve those who don’t fear completely embracing and showcasing their true self.’
